Giveaway | Plastic Free July with Authentic House

You might already be aware of the #plasticfreejuly campaign and I'm pleased to have teamed up with Authentic House to offer you the chance to win ONE LARGE SUBSCRIPTION BOX full of eco-friendly goods, personalised to your lifestyle.

Authentic House was launched in 2018 as an eco-friendly subscription service to build a community around simple, positive changes we can make each month. Cardiff-based enterprise source products from all over the UK and beyond and is inspired by the idea that switching to plastic-free, ethically-made products at home can not only lower our impact on the planet, but help us feel happier too. The tailored subscription and one-off boxes include a range of beautifully crafted items which encourage us to enjoy the simple everyday.

Founder, Alice Ojeda started Authentic House when she realised that ethical living didn't just mean solar panels and eco-homes - it was in our everyday decisions. "For me, it started with finding a fuzzy brush, made of coconut palm that you could use to wash your dishes. It looked great and it could also help you reduce your plastic and microplastic waste. I thought, if more people were aware of the options, who wouldn't want to choose eco-friendly alternatives like these," says Alice.

Selected by Authentic House subscribers, this year their partner charities are Trees for Cities and Rewildling Britain. Trees for Cities work to improve lives by planting trees in cities in the UK and across the world, creating healthy spaces that involve and are cared for by locals. Rewilding Britain aims to reverse the loss of land and sea habitats in Britain and to help reconnect people with nature in a way that benefits both. For each small, medium and large box sold in the UK, Authentic House donate 20p, 30p and 50p respectively.
